Plyometric exercises (box jumps, squat jumps, lateral jumps, jump rope, etc) to improve vertical jump and explosive movements.
Short bursts of movement exercises (agility hurdles, agility ladder, cone drills) to improve quick changes of direction, strength, balance, and body control.
Exercises and drills (lunges, shuffle drills, cone drills) that improve the ability to move anywhere on the court as fast as possible and develop explosive lower body power.
